The role:

A leading Government institution are seeking a highly capable Senior User Researcher, to undertake an initial 6-month contract. This role is Inside IR35.
/n
As a Senior User Researcher, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse of projects on improving GOV.UK products and services.
/n
Experience requirements:
/n
/n
- Experience of advocating for user research and engaging colleagues and
/n
- stakeholders
/n
- Broad and specialist user research experience in a digital/IT environment and
/n
- large complex organisations
/n
- Ability to understand the complex problems a team is trying to solve, and
/n
- align user research activities to inform decision making and action.
/n
- Experience of introducing new research methods and helping teams to adopt.
/n
- and choose the most effective/ appropriate user research methods, analysis.
/n
- and synthesis techniques and approaches to presenting and sharing findings.
/n
- Experience of helping teams to adopt user centred service design and delivery practices and embed them into their agile workflow.
/n
- Familiarity with GOV.UK design patterns, style guidance, plain English standards and/or the GDS service manual.
/n
