A leading Government Institution is seeking an experienced Programme Director to lead a large-scale Legal Practice Management (LPM) transformation programme. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for driving the modernisation of legal practices through the delivery of new technology-enabled services. The Programme Director will provide visible, authoritative leadership and will be accountable for successful delivery across multiple complex workstreams, suppliers, and internal teams.

The role requires strong familiarity with the Government Digital Service (GDS) Service Standards and Technical Code of Practice (TCOP), alongside proven experience delivering major transformation programmes within a government or public sector environment.

Essential Experience & Skills
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale transformation programmes, including new digital or technology-enabled services
  • Experience successfully passing Government Project Delivery assurance gates
  • Experience leading programmes through GDS service assessments
  • Expert-level stakeholder engagement and governance capability, including executive-level reporting
  • Strong programme governance, financial management, and delivery assurance experience
  • Practitioner-level experience in digital, data, business change, and implementation
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple suppliers
  • Strong understanding of government delivery standards, digital assurance, and security requirements
Desirable Experience
  • Experience delivering Legal Practice Management systems
  • Experience delivering case management systems
