The predicted salary is between 30000 - 35000 £ per year.

Salary: between £150.00 to £175.00 per day Inside IR35

Duration: Initially 3 months contract which is very likely to extend, along with the possibility of a permanent role being offered.

Location: Central London

Working hours: 9am - 5pm with days when you may start and finish an hour earlier or later. There will be the chance to work overtime which you will be compensated for either financially or by time in lieu.

A very exciting Client of ours are looking to hire an AV Technician to support with day to day support and events. The AV Technician will be involved in supporting, installing, implementing and configuring simple and complex AV technologies to meet the needs of the business. As the AV Technician, you will be supporting Audio Visual presentations across theatres and studios, prioritising equipment repairs and replacements, and assisting the wider AV team.

Responsibilities for the AV Engineer:

  • Support, maintain and troubleshoot AV issues
  • Setting up and recording live streams
  • Support, maintain and troubleshoot hardware issues
  • Support events with their AV requirements
  • Support AV installations
  • Create documentation around all tickets completed and create user guides
  • Store, transport, assemble and disassemble AV equipment

Essential Skills for the AV Technician:

  • Audio Visual support experience
  • Experience working within an AV environment working with conference Centre and Studio
  • Good experience working with Lighting and Sound systems
  • Experience working with mixing desks eg Yamaha
  • Diagnosing issues with MS Teams and hardware
  • Previous experience setting up video streams and recording video streams
  • Able to assist with physical installations
  • Good understanding of Signal flow and compression
  • Troubleshooting mindset
  • Detailed orientated
  • Time management
  • Good customer service skills including excellent verbal communication skills

Desirable Skills for the AV Support & Installation Engineer:

  • Completed AV installations
  • VMix, OBJ
  • Microsoft Windows
  • Sound Engineering
  • Any relevant certifications
