A client of ours is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to support and develop their core IT infrastructure across both BAU operations and project delivery. The successful Infrastructure Engineer will join a collaborative technology function, working across business-critical systems within a complex infrastructure environment.

They are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer who is technically strong, proactive and comfortable taking ownership of complex infrastructure environments. You will work across a diverse estate, supporting critical systems and contributing to infrastructure improvements, upgrades and future-state architecture. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are essential.

Essential skills - Infrastructure Engineer:
  • Windows Server administration
  • Active Directory Domain Services - administration and support of Domain Controllers
  • Microsoft Azure - core infrastructure services and administration
  • Office 365 / Microsoft 365 - tenant administration and security
  • Virtualisation - VMware and/or Hyper-V
  • Networking - configuration and support of network infrastructure
  • Backup, disaster recovery and patch management
Desirable skills - Infrastructure Engineer:
  • Intune - device and endpoint management
  • PowerShell scripting and automation
  • Storage technologies (SAN/NAS)
  • Azure Certifications
  • Experience supporting infrastructure projects and migrations
