A globally established organisation is seeking an experienced IAM Developer to join a high-performing Identity and Access Management function within a complex financial services environment. This is a technical SME role focused on supporting and enhancing a mission-critical Identity Governance and Administration platform. The position is suited to a strong IAM developer who combines deep platform expertise with excellent troubleshooting capability and enjoys working across change initiatives, upgrades and production support.

Responsibilities for the IAM Developer:

  • Act as a technical subject matter expert for the One Identity Manager (1IM) platform
  • Integrate target systems including Active Directory, O365, databases, web services, mainframes, LDAP and enterprise applications
  • Configure and work extensively with 1IM tools including Manager, Designer, Web Designer, Object Browser, Data Importer, Job Queue Info and Transporter
  • Develop custom connectors and integrations using UNS tables where required
  • Customise and support WebUI components
  • Write and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures and views
  • Develop enhancements and fixes using VB.NET
  • Support platform upgrades and change-the-bank initiatives
  • Provide production support including deep-dive troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Ensure secure, scalable and efficient identity lifecycle management across the organisation

Essential Skills for the IAM Developer:

  • Strong hands-on experience with One Identity Manager (1IM)
  • Experience integrating enterprise target systems for provisioning and reconciliation
  • Strong SQL capability including database analysis
  • Experience with VB.NET development within IAM platforms
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile and Waterfall
  • Experience working within structured change management environments
  • Experience with server-side scripting such as Perl, VBScript, JavaScript or batch scripts
  • Good understanding of infrastructure and system dependencies

Desirable Skills for the IAM Developer:

  • Previous experience in a dedicated IAM developer role
  • Experience supporting global or international environments
  • Experience providing post-deployment and production support
