A globally established organisation is seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join a high-performing technology team delivering modern enterprise applications and platforms. This is a hands-on automation role focused on building scalable testing frameworks, improving software quality and embedding automation across the full software delivery lifecycle. The role is ideally suited to an engineer who enjoys working closely with development teams to improve reliability, efficiency and release confidence across complex environments.

Responsibilities for the Test Automation Engineer:

  • Design and maintain automation strategies across API, UI and regression testing
  • Build, enhance and support automated testing frameworks using modern tooling
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery
  • Improve test coverage, execution efficiency and platform reliability
  • Perform REST API testing and backend validation activities
  • Analyse test failures and collaborate with developers on root cause analysis
  • Manage test environments and test data requirements
  • Produce quality metrics, reporting and testing documentation for stakeholders
  • Support non-functional testing activities where required
  • Contribute towards best practice across automation and quality engineering processes

Essential Skills for the Test Automation Engineer:

  • Strong expertise with Python and pytest
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks
  • Experience with Selenium and/or Playwright for UI automation
