The Role - Software Developer

You will play a central role in designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack applications using JavaScript, TypeScript and AWS serverless technologies. The Software Developer will work across the full software development lifecycle - from concept through to deployment - ensuring the solutions are robust, secure and maintainable. Automated testing, continuous integration and best practice coding standards will be second nature to you.

Key Responsibilities - Software Developer

  • Develop and deploy scalable, high-performance applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and AWS serverless architecture
  • Apply Agile methodologies and collaborate cross-functionally in a modern DevOps environment
  • Lead and implement robust automated testing frameworks to ensure code quality and long-term maintainability
  • Contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines (CI/CD), maintaining secure, clean and well-documented code

Required Skills & Experience - Software Developer

  • Active SC Clearance (mandatory)
  • Expert in JavaScript, TypeScript, AWS Serverless, Jira and GitHub
  • Full Stack experience, with the ability to deliver across front-end, back-end and cloud environments
  • Strong grasp of Agile principles and working practices
  • Proven experience with test automation in modern development pipelines

Desirable Skills - Software Developer

  • Angular framework
  • Infrastructure as Code (CDK/Terraform)
  • Cypress or equivalent test automation tools
