An international communications consultancy is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to lead the digital strategy, delivery and optimisation of a high-profile strategic communications programme. The role offers the opportunity to design and oversee impactful, insight-driven digital campaigns that advance behavioural and social change across complex international environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with programme objectives, behavioural insights and security protocols.
  • Oversee multi-channel campaigns across paid, earned and organic digital platforms, including social media, search and display.
  • Translate audience and OSINT insights into clear digital frameworks, targeting strategies and creative briefs.
  • Manage relationships with media-buying agencies, creative suppliers and digital partners, ensuring brand integrity and compliance with data protection standards.
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance, providing regular data-driven insights and performance reports to internal teams and donors.
  • Lead test-and-learn initiatives to enhance campaign performance through continuous optimisation and innovation.
  • Oversee digital risk management, ensuring content, data and targeting practices comply with security and ethical standards.
  • Provide strategic thought leadership within cross-functional teams, supporting the integration of digital strategies across research, creative and production disciplines.
  • Represent the digital function in client and stakeholder meetings, presenting insights, recommendations and campaign outcomes confidently.

Essential Skills:

  • Active SC Clearance.
  • Experience in digital marketing or communications.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale, multi-market digital campaigns across diverse platforms.
  • Deep understanding of audience behaviour, online influence ecosystems and strategic communications.
  • Proficiency in social advertising platforms (Meta, X/Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, Google Ads) and programmatic buying tools.
  • Experience with social listening and analytics tools (e.g. Pulsar, Meltwater, Brandwatch, Google Analytics).
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret data and optimise campaign performance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of engaging senior clients and donors.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead digital teams and manage external partners effectively.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience across international development, public sector, or social impact programmes.
  • Familiarity with OSINT methodologies and data-driven behavioural insight generation.
