An established organisation is seeking a Data Analyst to join a growing data function supporting the delivery of insight-led decision making across the business. This is a hands-on contract role suited to a technically strong analyst who is comfortable working with modern analytics tooling, clean data models plus stakeholder-facing outputs.

The Data Analyst will work closely with technical plus non-technical teams to transform raw data into trusted insight leveraging contemporary analytics platforms plus best-practice approaches to data modelling, visualisation, and reporting.

Responsibilities for the Data Analyst:

  • Analyse and interpret complex datasets to deliver clear actionable insights that support business decision-making.
  • Build and maintain scalable reporting analytics solutions using modern BI analytics tools.
  • Work with structured and semi-structured data sources ensuring data quality, consistency, and reliability.
  • Develop reusable datasets and semantic models to support self-service analytics.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective analytical outputs.
  • Support ongoing improvement of analytics processes, tooling, and data governance standards.
  • Contribute to the adoption of modern analytics practices including automation and version-controlled workflows.

Essential Skills for the Data Analyst:
