We are working with one of the largest global BFSI organisations, operating at scale across international markets, who are looking for an experienced Java and Fidessa Developer to support and enhance their front office trading platforms. In this role, the Java and Fidessa Developer will be working in a fast-paced front office environment, supporting equities trading systems and contributing to the stability and performance of business-critical platforms.

The Java and Fidessa Developer will be involved across the full trade lifecycle, working closely with traders and technology teams to resolve issues, drive improvements and support ongoing regulatory and system changes. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected organisation where you will gain exposure to complex, large-scale trading environments and modern technologies.

Essential skills - Java and Fidessa Developer:

  • Strong experience with Fidessa
  • Equities / Global Markets knowledge
  • Understanding of FIX Protocol
  • Java & Linux experience
  • Scripting (Python, Shell, or TCL)
  • Experience with SQL databases (Sybase / MS SQL)
  • Messaging frameworks (IBM MQ, TIBCO or similar)
