A leading Government Institution are seeking a Project Manager, to undertake an initial 12-month engagement. This role is predominantly remote and would suit a Project Manager with prior experience of delivery Digital services.
Essential Experience & Skills
- Experience delivering large-scale software initiatives, ideally within a public sector or government environment.
- Background working within or alongside a Project Management Office (PMO) function in structured delivery settings.
- Demonstrated success leading complex programmes or projects involving multiple external vendors and cross-functional teams.
- Experience building and maintaining integrated delivery schedules, including critical path analysis and dependency management.
- Involvement in system upgrades or transformation initiatives affecting JavaScript-based platforms or applications.
- Strong technical literacy, enabling effective dialogue with architects and engineering teams, constructive challenge of assumptions, and informed risk assessment.
- Proven ability to build effective relationships with senior leaders, delivery teams, and supplier organisations.
- Methodology (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, Agile frameworks).
