2nd Line IT Support Engineer
Location - Central London - 3 days a week onsite
Salary - £40,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Contract Type - Permanent
Working Hours - 40 hours per week
We are looking for an experienced 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to work with a Managed Service Provider providing technical support to a variety of companies within the finance sector. There is a keen focus on developing skills and career progression for this role through fully funded qualifications so a want to progress technically is required. This role is focusing on developing techniques and skills to become a 3rd line engineer.
You will be working in a team of 5 providing support and handling issues efficiently and professionally to various companies. Day-to-day duties of a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer include resolving tickets, handling issues and escalating where necessary.
Key Technical Requirements for the 2nd Line IT Support Engineer:
- Proficient experience with Office 365
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Skilled using Active Directory and EntraID
- Experience using Intune
- Azure
- Networking
- 1st/2nd Line Experience
Desirable Technical Skills for the 2nd Line IT Support Engineer:
- Experience with Virtualised Environment (VMware or HyperV)
- Knowledge of Mac (iOS)
- Relevant Certifications and Qualification for the required Software
- Successful projects completed using required software
This role as a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer requires an individual with great communication skills and proficient technical accuracy when working under pressure. We also would like an individual with a warm personality who will integrate well into the team dynamic.
