My well-established client based in Wednesbury are looking for two Vehicle Technicians to join their team due to growth and expansion. The information below covers the role requirements, expected candidate experience, and accompanying qualifications.

Duties include:

  • Ability to conduct safe & efficient maintenance of varied fleet.
  • Utilising your technical knowledge to carry out services, repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including minor and major mechanical work.
  • Carry out vehicle health checks and road test vehicles to ensure they are safe and road worthy.
  • Carry out mechanical, electrical and engine repair work, where required.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Utilise diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and address issues with Renault.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of repairs.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe workspace.
  • Communicate successfully with customers and clients where needed to explain repair findings and recommendations.

Key Skills:

  • Essential you hold Level 3 Diploma / NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair as a minimum.
  • Experience in car service and repair.
  • Experience in wiring and camera maintenance.
  • Full and valid UK driving licence.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills.

One role is based on site working 8pm - 4am. The other is based out on the road and hours will vary due to being on call. As part of the recruitment process you will be invited to an assessment day to test your technical ability. Hours will be 8am - 2pm of which you will be paid for.
