An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Site or Project Manager to lead the delivery of a prestigious, high-profile mixed-use leisure development in Hertfordshire. This is a flagship, multi-million-pound project requiring a confident, hands-on professional who can take full ownership from early stages through to successful completion and handover.

This role is site-based due to the complexity, scale, and client-facing nature of the project, offering the chance to play a pivotal role in delivering a landmark scheme. After this project is complete you will be required to travel and manage other schemes in and around the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the full lifecycle of a major electrical project from pre-construction through to completion and handover
  • Lead all on-site electrical operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
  • Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
  • Manage subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers effectively
  • Monitor progress, produce reports, and manage project programmes
  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards
  • Identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues proactively
  • Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and professional delivery

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience managing multi-million-pound electrical projects
  • Strong background in either Electrical Site Management or Project Management roles
  • Experience working on complex, large-scale developments (mixed-use or leisure experience desirable)
  • Ability to manage projects from early stages through to handover
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets and programmes
  • Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ, HNC/HND, or equivalent)
  • SMSTS/SSSTS (or equivalent) preferred
