We are working in partnership with a highly reputable and long-established electrical contractor based in the West Midlands, seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their growing commercial team.

As Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in the pre-construction team, responsible for producing accurate and competitive tenders across a variety of electrical installation projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
- Value engineering and proposing alternative solutions where appropriate
- Working closely with internal teams including design, commercial and operations
- Supporting handover of successful tenders to delivery teams
We’re keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within a contracting environment
- Strong knowledge across multiple sectors such as commercial, industrial, retail or public sector projects
- Experience pricing a range of electrical systems including LV distribution, lighting, small power, fire alarms, security systems, and infrastructure works
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- A strong commercial mindset with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Experience with sustainable or energy-efficient installations would be highly advantageous.
