Involve Recruitment are looking for a dedicated Engineer / Senior Engineer to join our clients team, responsible for managing, maintaining, designing, and developing both small-scale and large-scale construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee and manage the design, development, and delivery of construction projects, ranging from small to large-scale. * Ensure all work complies with the company’s health and safety and environmental policies and procedures. * Conduct site investigations, analysing collected data to inform decision-making. * Perform accurate setting out and surveying of works to ensure precise project alignment. * Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure the construction process follows correct procedures. * Advise on resolving any issues or deficiencies that arise during the project lifecycle. * Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and all other project stakeholders. * Ensure all works are completed in full compliance with current health and safety legislation. * Stay up-to-date with current health and safety regulations and industry standards. Skills & Qualifications: * Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, Project 2000, CAD, and LSS surveying packages. * Skilled in using MS Project to develop baseline programs and monitor project progress. * Excellent interpersonal, listening, and negotiation skills. * Strong oral and written communication skills with attention to detail. * Effective time management skills, with the ability to meet fixed deadlines and manage risks. * Good problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges. * HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering or a similar related course is preferable. * SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification is required. * A clean UK Driving License is essential.
