We are partnering with one of the UK’s leading contracting groups, delivering major infrastructure projects across the power, water, rail, and highways sectors. Following the recent award of a significant £80M+ contract, they are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to play a pivotal role on this landmark civil engineering scheme. Reporting directly to the Project Director, you will lead the successful delivery of a complex, multi-disciplinary project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead early-stage stakeholder engagement with clients, consultants, and key partners
  • Oversee design development, programme planning, and budget control
  • Ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of project milestones
  • Manage large, multidisciplinary teams across civil, mechanical, and electrical works
  • Maintain high standards within a safety-critical environment

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering major civil engineering projects in a Project Management role
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercially astute with a solid understanding of project financials
  • In-depth knowledge of NEC forms of contract
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, large-scale works and teams
