We are working with one of Wales most respected and established contractors, known for delivering high-quality major projects across a range of sectors. Following a record year and with a strong pipeline of secured work, they are now looking to strengthen their commercial team with the addition of an ambitious Quantity Surveyor. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor in the early stages of their career, or someone ready to step up from an Assistant QS role, who is eager to develop within a contractor that offers clear progression pathways and ongoing support. You will join a thriving commercial team and gain exposure to some of the region’s most prestigious live and upcoming schemes. Key Responsibilities: * Assist in the management of commercial aspects of live construction projects. * Prepare and review tender documents, subcontractor packages, and cost plans. * Monitor budgets, manage variations, and produce valuations. * Support with procurement, cost control, and forecasting. * Liaise closely with site and project teams to ensure commercial targets are met. * Ensure contract compliance and support with contractual administration. Candidate Profile: * 2 to 4 years post-graduate experience within a contracting or consultancy environment. * Strong grounding in commercial processes and contract administration. * Good knowledge of JCT or NEC contracts is advantageous. * Ambitious, proactive, and keen to grow within a strong structured commercial team. * A relevant construction-related degree (Quantity Surveying or similar)
