Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Location: Chorley, Preston Sectors: Commercial and Housing Start Date: ASAP Salary: Competitive (Based on experience) Experience Required: Residential Construction, Housing Associations, Commercial. About the Role: We are currently looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our clients growing team. The projects involved are the construction of apartments and housing mainly working with housing associations, and the ideal candidate will have a strong track record in managing residential projects. Key Responsibilities: * Preparing bills and schedules for materials, labor, and services * Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the project, including, scheduling, budgeting, and client liaison. * Cost reporting and valuation * Ensure strict compliance with health and safety standards on-site. * Liaise with the Housing Association client, keeping them informed of project progress and addressing any concerns or changes. * Agreeing and producing final accounts * Monitor and control the project budget, ensuring costs are controlled and efficiencies are maximised.
