Involve Recruitment are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join an established construction contractor with a strong pipeline of commercial projects across Bristol, Exeter, Portsmouth, Plymouth, and surrounding areas, operating from their Cardiff office. The company delivers a range of commercial schemes, with a particular focus on façade and cladding replacement works, as well as internal fire protection packages, across multiple sectors. The role will involve regular travel to sites across South England and Wales.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the commercial management of projects from inception through to final account, ensuring effective cost control and contractual compliance throughout.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Commercial management of multiple projects
  • Cost planning, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Procurement and management of subcontract packages
  • Contract administration under NEC and JCT forms
  • Management of variations and agreement of final accounts
  • Liaison with clients, consultants, and internal teams
  • Attendance at site visits across South England and Wales
  • Support and mentoring of junior commercial staff
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in Quantity Surveying
  • Background within construction (contractor, subcontractor, or consultancy)
  • Experience delivering internal and/or external fire protection projects
