My well established Manufacturing client have a superb opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join their team due to growth and expansion.

Duties:

  • Ensure Quality control and Quality assurance for high volume
  • Review & Analyse Non-Conforming Product (NCP) on a Daily Basis. Lead the operations team in root cause analysis and continual improvement techniques.
  • Management of QMS and drive towards new standards IATF and ISO 14001
  • Using quality tools to drive continuous improvement to the business.
  • Assist in NPI & APQP documentation as required, including PPAP documentation
  • Quality management of customer and suppliers
  • Lead site auditing, systems, process and product
  • Lead customer and external audits

Key Skills:

  • Essential you have Quality Engineering experience within an Automotive Environment
  • Management of small teams in a manufacturing environment
  • Organisational & team building skills
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications
  • Sound understanding of inspection techniques.
  • Knowledge of the ISO 9001 quality policies and system requirements.
  • Knowledge of IATF (essential) & VDA 6.3 audit Policies & Procedures
  • Knowledge of health & safety and environmental procedures
  • Initiative and problem-solving abilities (Quality Core Tools)
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Customer focused
  • Conversant with Microsoft systems such as outlook, word & excel etc
