We are seeking an experienced Planner, preferably with a Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) background, to join this busy project delivery team. This is a key role responsible for the planning, scheduling, and coordination of M&E elements within complex construction projects, ensuring seamless integration with overall construction timelines and delivering on-time results. As the M&E Planner, you’ll collaborate closely with preconstruction, operations, and subcontractor teams to develop and maintain detailed programmes, track progress, and support project success through risk analysis, mitigation, and clear communication. Key Responsibilities * Develop and Maintain Detailed M&E Programmes Collaborate with preconstruction and delivery teams to create comprehensive schedules based on design specs, subcontractor input, and construction requirements. * Integrate M&E with Main Project Plans Ensure M&E works are fully aligned with structural and architectural activities, avoiding clashes and optimising sequencing. * Progress Monitoring & Reporting Track project milestones, identify potential delays, and provide clear, actionable updates to project stakeholders. * Risk Management Analyse critical paths, assess scheduling risks specific to M&E works, and propose practical mitigation strategies. * Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with internal and external teams, including project managers, designers, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring coordination across all phases of the build. * Planning Software Expertise Use Asta Powerproject proficiently to create and manage programmes. Familiarity with tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project is also advantageous.
