Involve Recruitment (Midlands) Ltd are working with an innovative and forward-thinking manufacturing company to recruit for a Supply Chain Coordinator.
Salary: £28,000 to £35,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (early Friday finish)
This will be a key role within the business to help them continue to drive change and growth. The ideal person for this role is a confident, detail-driven Supply Chain Coordinator who will take ownership of the end-to-end supply chain activity. You’ll be responsible for planning, stock, suppliers, logistics, and order flow - ensuring the right products and components are available at the right time, with clear communication across the business. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys problem-solving, improving processes, and keeping things moving when pressure is on.
Key Responsibilities:
- Part Code Control: Create and maintain part codes
- Demand & Forecast Planning
- Supplier Management: UK and overseas suppliers
- Coordinate and oversee the movement and handling of goods through the supply chain, from factory to warehouse to customer
- Monitor and analyse inventory levels to prevent shortages, overstocking, or disruption to supply
- Price List Maintenance
- Process orders for UK stock and direct-from-factory customer orders, providing accurate ETAs and keeping relevant stakeholders informed
- Provide operational support to the Business Operations Manager, including process improvement projects, health & safety compliance, sales support, and other cross-departmental operational duties as required
Previous experience in supply chain or inventory management is essential, as well as the ability to be self-motivated and take ownership.
