We’re working with one of the UK’s leading Tier 1 contracting groups, with an established reputation for delivering some of the country’s most high-profile and complex infrastructure schemes. Having recently secured a long-term framework to deliver and maintain critical clean and wastewater infrastructure across South Wales, they have a strong and secure pipeline of work, with significant project opportunities forecast for at least the next five years. Join the planning team on a major water framework, building and maintaining programmes across a varied portfolio of call-off projects. Reporting to the Senior Planner, you'll be the go-to person for programme data on your projects, working closely with delivery and commercial teams. The role would suit either an established planner looking to broaden their experience or an experienced SiteAgent/Project Manager seeking a transition into planning. What you'll do * Develop, update and maintain project programmes in Primavera P6 (or Asta Powerproject) * Prepare NEC3 programme submissions and revisions for acceptance * Track progress against baseline and produce look-aheads and progress reports * Identify delays and critical path changes early, and flag them through Early Warnings * Support the assessment of Compensation Events with programme impact analysis * Work with site, design and commercial teams to keep programmes accurate and realistic * Contribute to monthly reporting and framework-wide planning consistency What you'll bring * Proven planning experience in water, utilities, civils or infrastructure * Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 or Asta Powerproject * Understanding of NEC3 programme requirements * Ability to analyse progress data and communicate programme risk clearly * Good Excel skills and strong attention to detail Desirable * Experience on framework or Design & Build projects * Experience with delay or time-impact analysis * Power BI or dashboard reporting experience * Relevant degree or planning qualification
