Seeking a highly skilled Mechanical & Electrical Project Lead to oversee the delivery of a major £40M Government lead project in Newcastle upon Tyne. Working with a large M&E contractor, this role offers the chance to take a pivotal position, leading from the front and working closely with the client.
As the M&E Project Lead, you will act as the central point between the client, design and on-site delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring the project runs smoothly across all stages, from design through to completion, managing changes in design, budgets, and general programme delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and attend client meetings, acting as the primary M&E point of contact.
- Review, monitor, and manage budgets across each project stage.
- Oversee design changes, ensuring these are communicated effectively to Engineers and site Project Management.
- Coordinate both Mechanical and Electrical, ensuring the programme is adhered to and all H&S risks are managed.
- Work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to drive successful project delivery.
- Ensure compliance is up to date, with all relevant health and safety documentation in place and all regulations are adhered to.
Can be either Mechanical or Electrical biased, with a strong knowledge of the other discipline. Proven experience managing projects.
