Are you a hands-on Maintenance Engineer who loves problem-solving and working with high-tech machinery? The Role As part of the Laser Maintenance Team, you’ll play a key role in keeping the laser cutting machines and associated equipment running smoothly. From planned preventative maintenance to fast, effective breakdown response, you’ll be at the heart of keeping production moving. You’ll: * Carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance on high-precision tube laser machinery. * Respond quickly to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and implement lasting fixes. * Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with the maintenance schedule. * Keep accurate maintenance logs and manage critical spare parts. * Work closely with production and department managers to reduce downtime and improve efficiency. * Support continuous improvement projects and contribute your ideas for better performance. About You You’re a natural problem-solver with solid mechanical and electrical skills, ideally gained in a manufacturing environment. You’ll bring a positive, proactive attitude and a strong sense of ownership for your work. You’ll have: * City & Guilds or BTEC in an engineering discipline (or equivalent experience). * Electrical knowledge (circuitry and fault finding). * Mechanical engineering experience, ideally with pneumatics and hydraulics. * Confidence using PCs and maintenance logging systems. * A passion for quality, safety, and getting the job done right.
