The project involves the construction of a new training facility, with the works including the installation of a steel frame, external brickwork and the creation of a new internal office space. We are looking for a hands-on, self-sufficient Site Manager who has previous experience overseeing similar small-scale new-build or commercial construction projects. You will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with the programme. Requirements: * Previous experience as a Site Manager on similar new-build or commercial construction projects. * Experience with steel frame structures, brickwork and general building works would be highly advantageous. * SMSTS qualification. * Valid CSCS card. * First Aid qualification. * Strong organisational and communication skills. * Ability to work independently, use initiative and manage a site with minimal supervision. * A proactive approach with the ability to coordinate multiple trades and keep projects on programme. The Opportunity: This is an immediate-start freelance opportunity, with the current project scheduled to run until early February 2027. For the right individual, there is also the potential for further projects beyond this initial assignment, should the working relationship prove successful for all parties.
