A successful, family owned HVAC contractor based in Worcestershire, delivering design and installation of all HVAC services throughout Retail, Commercial and Leisure establishments throughout the UK. With over 30 years of trading history and a strong, healthy financial turnover, the business continues to grow, creating an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team. This role has been created due to sustained business growth. You will receive a comprehensive one to one introduction to the company, its systems and processes, ensuring you feel supported from day one. The business is deeply invested in its people, offering structured training and long term development to fully aid progression.

The Role

  • Mechanical design of HVAC systems for refurbishment projects
  • Producing detailed calculations, drawings and technical documentation
  • Supporting project delivery teams from concept through to completion
  • Liaising with clients, contractors and suppliers
  • Ensuring designs meet regulatory and industry standards

The ideal profile

  • Experienced within Mechanical Design across Building Services/HVAC
  • Strong technical knowledge of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems
  • Proficiency in relevant design software
  • A driven motivation with ambition to progress and succeed
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
