About the Company

Our client is a well-established, highly reputable Electrical Contractor with a long history of delivering successful projects across the retail, commercial and industrial sectors. Following continued growth and demand from their customer base, they are now launching a brand-new Mechanical division to run alongside their thriving Electrical business. This is an exciting opportunity to join at the very start of this venture and play a key role in shaping the future of the department.

The Opportunity

As the Head of Mechanical, you will lead, develop and grow the Mechanical Services offering within the business. This is a pivotal, strategic role ideal for an experienced Mechanical professional who can combine strong operational ability with commercial awareness and business development skills.

The company will also consider a talented Mechanical Contracts Manager seeking the next step in their career and ready to take ownership of a new division.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish, lead and develop the new Mechanical division.
• Oversee operations, project delivery and performance across mechanical projects.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities, leveraging existing industry contacts.
• Work closely with the Electrical division to offer a fully integrated M&E service.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Support tendering, estimating and overall divisional growth strategy.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, regulations and company processes.

About You

• Proven Mechanical background within building services.
• Strong operational experience with the ability to run and develop a division.
• Experience within retail, commercial and/or industrial sectors.
• Strong business development capability, ideally with contacts or potential clients you can bring with you.
• Ambitious, driven and looking for the opportunity to shape and lead a team.
• Experience as a Mechanical Contracts Manager or above.
