We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established electrical contractor based in the Staffordshire region for an experienced Electrical Project Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and professional team delivering high-quality electrical installations across retail, commercial, and industrial sectors.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will oversee multiple electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The role is predominantly office-based, with site visits required once or twice a week to monitor progress, coordinate with clients, and support site teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing electrical installation projects across retail, commercial, and industrial environments
- Planning, budgeting, and scheduling project activities
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Overseeing procurement of materials and coordination of labour
- Ensuring compliance with electrical regulations, health & safety standards, and company procedures
- Conducting regular site visits (1-2 times per week) to review progress and resolve issues
- Providing technical support and problem-solving guidance throughout the project lifecycle
Essential Experience & Skills
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager
- Strong background in retail electrical projects
- Additional experience working on commercial and industrial electrical installations
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of BS7671 and relevant health & safety legislation
- Full UK driving licence
