We are working in partnership with a highly reputable and long‑established electrical contractor based in the West Midlands, seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their growing commercial team. This business has built a strong reputation for delivering high‑quality electrical installations across a diverse range of sectors including commercial fit‑out, industrial, retail, public sector, distribution and leisure environments. As Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in the pre‑construction team, responsible for producing accurate and competitive tenders across a variety of electrical installation projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
  • Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
  • Value engineering and proposing alternative solutions where appropriate
  • Working closely with internal teams including design, commercial and operations
  • Supporting handover of successful tenders to delivery teams

What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within a contracting environment
  • Strong knowledge across multiple sectors such as commercial, industrial, retail or public sector projects
  • Experience pricing a range of electrical systems including LV distribution, lighting, small power, fire alarms, security systems, and infrastructure works
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • A strong commercial mindset with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience with sustainable or energy‑efficient installations would be highly advantageous
