Involve Recruitment (Midlands) Ltd are recruiting for a Senior HR Generalist for a manufacturing company within the Black Country region. Our client operates within a fast-paced, operationally driven sector, with a workforce of approximately 150 employees. The business has a strong mix of industrial and commercial teams, including warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, and office-based staff. Backed by financially strong ownership, the company has ambitious growth plans, including future acquisitions.
Salary: £32,000 to £40,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - flex start and finish time from 8am to complete a 37 hour week if full time but they are also open to part time hours!
This is a broad and varied position where you will take full responsibility for the HR function. You will work closely with senior leadership to deliver both strategic and day-to-day HR support across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing all aspects of HR administration and employee lifecycle
- Providing expert guidance on employee relations matters
- Ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation and best practice
- Supporting with contracts, policies, and HR documentation
- Leading on HR processes related to upcoming acquisitions, including TUPE
- Advising managers across both operational and office-based teams
- Supporting a positive workplace culture and continuous improvement of HR processes
We are looking for a confident and self-sufficient HR professional who thrives in a standalone role as well as:
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or above
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally operating independently
- Experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or operational environment
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
- Experience or exposure to TUPE processes (highly desirable)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive and pragmatic approach
Desirable: Health & Safety knowledge or experience
