Our client is a well-established and growing electrical contractor delivering high-quality electrical installations across the commercial and industrial sectors. Following a recent period of growth and investment, they are looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join their management team and play a key role in the continued success of the business.

Operating nationwide, the company provides a full turnkey service from design and installation through to commissioning, testing and handover, working on a diverse range of commercial and industrial projects across the UK. The successful candidate must therefore be willing to travel and lodge away from home when project requirements dictate.

The Role

This is a hands-on supervisory position suited to an experienced electrician who has progressed into site management and is confident overseeing electrical installations from start to finish. You will be responsible for:

  • Supervising electrical installation teams on commercial and industrial projects
  • Managing site activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard
  • Coordinating labour, materials and subcontractors on site
  • Liaising with clients, main contractors and project stakeholders
  • Conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with current regulations
  • Supporting project delivery through commissioning and handover stages
  • Maintaining high standards of health & safety and quality control
  • Undertaking the role of Qualifying Supervisor for the business, ensuring compliance with industry standards and certification requirements

About You

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:

  • Proven experience supervising electrical projects within commercial and industrial environments
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
  • City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)
  • ECS/JIB Gold Card
  • Excellent understanding of current electrical regulations and compliance requirements
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Flexibility to travel nationwide and lodge away when required
