We are working with a leading UK-based engineering company specialising in the provision of high-quality metal bending, rolling, and fabrication services. With over 50 years of expertise, the company serves a wide range of industries, including construction, aerospace, and rail. Known for their advanced technology and skilled workforce, they provide tailored solutions for complex projects, offering precision, efficiency, and a commitment to innovation. They pride themselves on their customer-focused approach, ensuring every project is completed to the highest standards.

As a result of internal promotion and growth, they have a role for a Technical CAD Engineer, with real scope to train and develop into a Technical Sales Manager within the team.

Key responsibilities:
  • Ability to calculate material requirements and processing costs for customer quotations
  • Supporting the Production and Purchasing team
  • Assisting customers with current sales orders
Required Experience:
  • Previous experience in the steel industry, engineering, or construction
  • Must be confident in reading and interpreting engineering CAD drawings
  • AutoCAD experience would be beneficial
  • Ability to understand material grades and production methods
  • Hold a full UK driving license
Package:
  • £14.00 per hour on a temp to perm basis, permanent role after 13 weeks with salary between £27,000 - £31,500 depending on experience and performance in the role
  • 32 days of holiday

Working Hours:
  • Monday to Thursday 8.00 am – 5.00 pm with 30 minutes lunch
  • Friday 8.00 am – 1.00 pm
