We are looking for a highly organised and experienced Small Works Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all allocated roofing projects and small works are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably. You will lead operatives on site, manage resources, maintain safety compliance, and ensure high‑quality service delivery to our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with roofing experience, confident decision‑making skills, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Management
- Monitor budgets and costs across all contracts.
- Present financial updates at contract meetings.
- Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers to ensure best value.
- Ensure all contracts comply with company Health & Safety arrangements.
- Prepare and maintain all required H&S documentation.
- Drive a zero‑incident safety culture.
- Ensure full adherence to IMS contract cycle procedures.
- Ensure operatives and supervisors carry out regular service reviews.
- Maintain company standards across all sites.
- Build positive relationships with client representatives.
- Uphold the company’s commitment to service excellence.
- Plan and manage all allocated contracts effectively.
- Deploy operatives based on skillsets required for each project.
- Review and approve subcontractor RAMS using correct HS59 documentation.
- Seek opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.

- Proven experience working within the roofing industry.
- Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and site setup.
