Site Manager – Roofing & Cladding
Location: Brentford Duration: 4 Months Start Date: Immediate Rate: Negotiable, depending on experience
Involve Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee an external cladding refurbishment project on a live industrial park in Brentford.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the refurbishment and painting of the external cladding across 29+ industrial units, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
This is a client-facing role, and you will be required to communicate regularly with tenants and other site stakeholders, keeping them informed of project progress, planned works, timescales and any relevant health & safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day activities across a live industrial refurbishment project.
- Oversee external cladding painting/refurbishment works across multiple industrial units.
- Coordinate site operatives, subcontractors and specialist contractors.
- Ensure works are completed safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
- Liaise professionally with tenants, keeping them informed of upcoming works and project progress.
- Produce regular site reports and project updates.
- Use the client's internal intranet system to record and manage project information.
- Monitor and maintain site health & safety standards.
- Attend site meetings and provide updates to the wider project team.
- Identify and resolve any site issues or programme constraints.
- Ensure appropriate RAMS and site procedures are followed.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager with a background in roofing, cladding, external refurbishment or similar building works.
You will need to be confident managing works on a live industrial/commercial site and comfortable dealing directly with tenants and other stakeholders.
Essential
- Previous experience as a Site Manager.
- Experience within roofing, cladding, external refurbishment or a similar construction environment.
- Valid SMSTS.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Good IT/computer skills and confidence using online systems.
- Ability to produce accurate reports and maintain site records.
- Strong understanding of health & safety requirements.
- Professional and approachable manner when dealing with tenants and clients.
IPAF certification would be highly desirable, although not essential.
