We are working with a leading national contractor, renowned for delivering high-quality retail, commercial, and mixed-use developments across the UK. Due to continued growth, the client is now seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a retail project. This is a key leadership role, responsible for managing multiple workstreams and ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
The scheme will involve a fast-track retail fit-out and refurbishment within a live trading environment, requiring exceptional planning, coordination, and stakeholder management skills. Following successful delivery, there is a strong pipeline of regional work, offering long-term continuity and career progression.
Reporting to the Project Director, you will take overall responsibility for site operations, leading site teams and subcontractors while maintaining full control of programme, safety, and quality.
Key responsibilities will include:
