Involve Recruitment (Midlands) Ltd are supporting a local company in the search for a permanent part time Accounts and Administration Assistant.

Salary: £14.50

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm (4 hours) with 30 minutes unpaid break.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Filing, data entry, general administrative duties
  • Answering and handling telephone calls professionally, directing inquiries as needed
  • Assisting with basic financial tasks, such as invoice processing, petty cash management, and maintaining the cash book
  • Supporting payroll processes, including timesheet management
  • Booking accommodation and handling related travel arrangements
  • Tea and coffee making to support office hospitality
  • Supporting purchase ledger processes, supplier statements and invoice reconciliation
  • Handling correspondence and document management

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail administration and organization skills
  • Basic understanding of financial processes (e.g., cash book, payroll, petty cash, purchase ledger, expenses)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
