My Wolverhampton based accountancy practice who are dedicated to providing high-quality accounting services to SME clients across the UK are looking to add to their team due to growth. They are looking for a Senior Accountant to oversee their accounting processes and support the development of our expanding team.

Duties:-

Manage the Accounting Process: Oversee the end-to-end accounting cycle for SME clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in the preparation of UK corporation accounts.

Bookkeeping Oversight: Supervise bookkeeping tasks including maintaining general ledgers, recording financial transactions, and reconciling accounts.

*

UK Corporation Accounts: Review and sign off accounts in line with UK accounting standards and regulations.

*

Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop junior accounting staff, providing guidance to ensure efficient and accurate service delivery.

*

Compliance: Keep up to date with changes in UK accounting standards and legislation, ensuring compliance and advising clients accordingly.

*

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes, implementing best practices for efficiency and accuracy.

*

Client Relationships: Build and maintain excellent relationships with new and existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
