Invivo Healthcare (\’The Human Microbiome Company\’) is looking for an experienced Nutrition/Healthcare Clinician to join our Clinical Consultancy Team.

Innovations in microbiome technologies and supplements are at the core of Invivo\’s portfolio for both primary, integrated and complementary health care practitioners.

The successful candidate will have a background in nutrition or other health-related science, along with experience of clinical practice.

The role will focus on providing our customers (health care practitioners) with microbiome test interpretation and food supplement recommendations, with the aim of increasing practitioner confidence in recommending microbiome testing and microbiome targeted recommendations.

The role can be home based, with regular travel to Stroud HQ and the Bristol lab expected for training and meetings.

Flexibility for occasional changes in working days or ad-hoc evening/weekend work to support meetings/events is needed.

Experience and Skills Required

· Degree (or equivalent) in nutrition or health-related science

· Experience of clinical practice

· Proficient IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems

· Resilient and adaptable to fast-paced work environment

· Proactive approach to learning.

· Multi-task oriented, courteous and organised

· Outstanding communication skills

· Comfortable working with a variety of healthcare providers

· Confident public speaking and presenting scientific information

· Prior experience in a similar role within the functional testing or food supplement industry is desirable but not essential.

The Role:

You will be expected to provide fast-paced technical/clinical support to practitioners in accordance with the support call schedules, where the expectation is to enhance practitioner understanding of microbiome test interpretation and supplement protocols.

The role may also involve delivering clinical education/training on microbiome related topics to clinics, student groups and mentoring groups. Meeting clinicians online or face to face and attending industry events to represent Invivo will also be required from time to time.

A primary focus of the role is delivery of support calls and support to healthcare professionals via various email and social media platforms, in accordance with the support schedule. Management of tasks via multiple IT platforms is required, along with good recording keeping in CRM systems.

An understanding of the healthcare market and the varying needs of different practitioners is helpful, as well as the ability to think commercially to identify new account or market opportunities to refer to the sales team.

Individuals will be expected to meet personal targets and performance goals, as well as contribute to meeting team and business level objectives.

The position will also include the following benefits:

· 25 days holiday per year plus Bank Holidays (pro-rata if part-time)
