We're looking for a Supply Chain Manager for our defence client based in Flintshire on an initial 6-month contract, paying £20.52 per hour (Inside IR35).
This role offers hybrid working, with an expectation to attend the office 3 days per week, with more frequent attendance expected initially to get up to speed with the site, team and role.
The successful Supply Chain Manager will be a proactive and organised individual with a solid understanding of supply chain and logistics operations. You will take ownership of a range of inventory and supply chain activities, playing a direct role in supporting UK defence operational capability.
You will need proven experience working with the following:
- Operating within a supply chain or logistics environment, managing inventory demand and supply plans
- Item data management and maintaining records on logistics information systems
- Stakeholder engagement and delivering a high standard of customer service
- Handling, interpreting and reporting on data to inform supply chain decisions
- Working within an agreed financial delegation and budget framework
- Producing customs declaration documentation for compliant HMRC activities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams is required, as is a full UK driving licence.
You will need to be able to obtain or hold SC clearance for this role.
