We're looking for a Senior Employee Relations Manager for a leading public sector organisation, based in Cambridge (hybrid), on a permanent basis, between £50,000 and £56,500 per year + Great benefits.
This is a hybrid role with remote working available and some attendance at the office in Cambridge.
The successful Senior Employee Relations Manager will act as deputy to the Head of Employee Relations, allocating casework, line managing a team of ER Advisors and stepping up to cover the Head of ER during periods of absence.
You'll provide specialist, high quality advice to senior leaders on complex ER matters, ensuring processes are fair, legally sound and free from litigation risk.
You'll also lead on policy development, deliver training and represent management at panels and tribunals as required.
You will need proven experience working with the following: Managing complex employee relations casework including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters Advising senior managers on the interpretation of terms and conditions and employment legislation Line managing and developing an ER or HR advisory team Presenting management cases at appeals panels and supporting Employment Tribunals
