We're looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (NetDevOps) for our public sector client based in Newcastle on an initial 11-month contract paying up to £650 per day inside IR35. This role offers hybrid working with approximately 3 days per week on-site attendance expected. You may work from Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham and Blackpool.
The successful Senior Infrastructure Engineer will be a hands-on engineer with a genuine NetDevOps mindset. You will be expected to contribute to design and delivery work quickly, bringing real engineering depth across:
- Enterprise networking
- Firewall technologies
- Data centre architecture
- Automation
You will need proven experience working with the following:
- Designing and implementing complex enterprise network infrastructure across data centre, hybrid and cloud environments
- OSPF and BGP environments, with strong understanding of enterprise and cloud network patterns
- Palo Alto firewalls across data centre and cloud, including Zero Trust and secure network design principles
- Data centre technologies including VXLAN, EVPN, VRF segmentation and multi-site fabrics
