We're looking for a Senior Planner for a public sector organisation, based in Reading on an initial 18-month contract, paying up to £68 per hour (Inside IR35, Umbrella). This is a full-time onsite role in the Reading area, with the possibility of condensing hours into a four-day week. The successful Senior Planner will own the planning capability across the projects they support, maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule and keeping it accurate and reliable. You'll produce planning and Earned Value deliverables in line with agreed business rhythms, run schedule and network analysis, and give the wider programme timely forecast information to support decision-making. You'll also champion planning best practice and help improve the end-to-end processes, tools and templates. You will need proven experience in the following: Senior planning within large, complex programmes Primavera P6, with the confidence to champion it across projects Earned Value Management and SPI variance analysis Critical path and network analysis Stakeholder engagement with PMs, engineers and technical teams A large corporate background, for example rail or aerospace You'll need to hold or be eligible to obtain SC or DV clearance for this role.
