We are seeking a Social Worker Auditor with a background in Children's Social Work and Ofsted preparation for our public sector client based in London on an initial 3 month contract paying up to £405 per day inside IR35. This role allows hybrid working with an expectation to attend the office 3 days per week. This is an exciting opportunity to support a London-based organisation in auditing and improving their social work practices to ensure compliance and excellence ahead of an Ofsted inspection.
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Conduct practice audits to assess compliance, quality, and impact of social work services.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve performance in line with Ofsted standards.
- Work with social workers, managers, and leadership teams to ensure best practice.
- Identify areas for improvement and contribute to action plans.
- Ensure policies and procedures align with Ofsted frameworks and local authority objectives.
The successful candidate will possess proven skills working with the following:
- Proven experience as a CSSW Practice Auditor or Children's Social Work Auditor.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted inspection frameworks and requirements.
- Experience working with local councils on social work audits.
- Ability to analyse data, report findings, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
