We're looking for a SmartRecruiters Functional Lead for a central government department, based in London (hybrid), on an initial 6-month contract, paying up to £700 per day (Inside IR35, Umbrella). This is a hybrid role with an expectation to attend the office in London twice a week.

The successful SmartRecruiters Functional Lead will act as the product and business process expert for the organisation's recruitment platform. You'll configure, optimise and govern SmartRecruiters, translate business requirements into working functional solutions, and run workshops with HR, resourcing and digital stakeholders. You'll also design improved end-to-end recruitment processes and support integration with SAP Employee Central.

You will need proven experience working with the following:

  • Significant hands-on SmartRecruiters experience as a Functional Lead, Functional Consultant, Product Owner or Business Systems specialist
  • Configuring recruitment workflows, approvals and business processes within SmartRecruiters
  • End-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition processes
  • Gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements, and facilitating workshops with senior stakeholders
  • Reporting, KPI development and data management
  • Managing third-party suppliers and service providers

Knowledge of Civil Service recruitment processes and experience integrating SmartRecruiters with HR and ERP platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors or Employee Central would be beneficial. Experience of large-scale transformation programmes and Agile delivery is also useful. SmartRecruiters certification or equivalent practical experience is highly desirable.
