The predicted salary is between 46800 - 60000 £ per year.

We're looking for a Commercial Manager (Supply Chain) for our public sector client based in London or York on an initial 6-month contract with a view to extend, paying up to £600 per day (Inside IR35).

This role offers hybrid working with an expectation to attend the office 3 days per week across either the London or York location.

The successful Commercial Manager will be a commercially astute professional who is comfortable operating as the key link between tactical supplier management and strategic supply chain partnerships within a complex, regulated environment. You will bring a strong understanding of how externally funded procurement activities differ from standard post-contract commercial management, and be able to articulate this clearly to a range of stakeholders.

You will need proven experience working with the following:

  • Stakeholder management within a regulated environment, with the ability to clearly communicate commercial priorities and risks
  • Supporting and evaluating procurements within a commercial environment
  • Understanding and managing funding arrangements within a programme context
  • Cost management, profiling and risk evaluation across complex supply chains
  • Programme and schedule management from a commercial perspective
  • Managing the interface between tactical supplier management and strategic supply chain partnerships

Experience within rail, transport or infrastructure supply chains would be highly desirable.
