Job Description

We're looking for a Lead Capital Finance Business Partner for our public sector client based in London on an initial 6-month contract, paying up to £650 per day Inside IR35.\\nWork Arrangement: Hybrid working (1-2 days per week in the office).\\nRequired Skills:\\n * Solid experience in capital accounting.\\n * Strong understanding of financial modelling for HRA Developments & Acquisitions.\\n * Familiarity with GLA grant schemes and rent rules linked to funding strategies.\\n * Proven experience leading finance teams, including managing Finance Business Partners.\\n * Ability to shape and steer the capital programme for both the General Fund and HRA.\\n * Skilled in budget monitoring and year-end close processes.\\n * Previous experience with Oracle Fusion, particularly the Projects module, is a bonus.\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n * Lead the Capital Finance Business Partner team, managing two Finance Business Partners and two Assistant Finance Business Partners.\\n * Oversee HRA capital development and acquisitions.\\n * Provide strategic insight for the Council's capital programme (2025/26 to 2029/30).\\n * Drive budget monitoring for the last quarter and support year-end close down.\\nInterested?
