We are looking for a Workforce Planning Manager for our public sector client based in Exeter on an initial 3-month contract with possible extension, paying market rates Inside IR35. This role allows hybrid working with an expectation to attend the office 1–2 days per week.

You will need proven experience managing and developing teams within a large, complex environment. The successful Workforce Planning Manager will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing team wellbeing and staff development
  • Ensuring records, timesheets and expenses are accurate and compliant
  • Leading and engaging a dispersed team of 14, including regular team meetings
  • Managing resourcing and workforce planning across technical staff
  • Supporting projects and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures
  • Building strong working relationships across the organisation
