We're looking for a Contract Lead for our public sector client based in London on an initial 6-month contract, paying up to £600 per day (Inside IR35).
The successful Contract Lead will be a hands-on contract management professional with solid NEC4 experience, joining a lively and ambitious commercial team working on some of the most prestigious projects in the country. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of a live single supplier framework, maintaining the relationship between the client and a major Joint Venture supplier, managing task order contracts and ensuring KPI performance and spend are captured, reported and held to account.
You will need proven experience working with the following:
- Hands-on contract management experience, with clear and demonstrable examples of managing live contracts on a day-to-day basis
- NEC4 contract knowledge and experience of applying it in practice
- Supplier relationship management, maintaining professional and effective working relationships with major contractors or joint ventures
- KPI monitoring, reporting and holding suppliers to account contractually
- Framework management within a public sector or similarly complex environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders
Please note this role requires hands-on contract management experience. Candidates whose background is primarily in sourcing or procurement without live contract management will not be considered.
You will need to hold or be able to pass CTC clearance for this role.
